Point 1
A mini-resort? A funland? Tokyu Plaza offers a rooftop terrace and artistic décor
Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku was built to be a fashion funland, offering a variety of attractions besides just shopping!
The biggest point would have to be the Omohara no Mori rooftop terrace on the 6th Floor. This verdant relaxation area was built to so that Tokyu Plaza would be in harmony with nature. It feels so much like a resort, you won’t believe that you’re still in the center of Tokyo.
Enjoy a drink from the Starbucks near the entrance of the terrace and relax. And on the 7th Floor you’ll find the casual restaurant bills, where you can look out over the terrace from the windows.
The artistic décor is not to be missed either. For example, at the entrance you’ll find a mirrored escalator that makes you feel like you’re in a kaleidoscope! The mirrors reflect other visitors, as well as the time and the season, for an ever-changing view. The shops all have a well-honed sense of interior design and décor for a fun, casual shopping experience.
