DiverCity Tokyo Plaza is at the heart of one of Japan’s leading sightseeing spots: the new Tokyo waterfront subcenter. It’s three minutes on foot from Tokyo Teleport Station on the Tokyo Waterfront Area Rapid Transit Line, or a five minute walk from Daiba Station on the New Transit Yurikamome Line.

The highlight is Gundam Front Tokyo, the world’s first entertainment center where you can see and feel the Gundam Series from a global perspective. It’s packed with fan-friendly content, such as a 16 meter diameter dome screen showing a variety of Gundam MS videos, an exhibit with over 1,000 plastic Gundam models detailing its long history, and a digital photo booth where you can take your photo with your favorite character.
There’s also Akihabara’s popular Gundam Café here. Even die-hard fans are sure to smile at the Gundam character-themed take out food and drink.
There are other exciting non-Gundam entertainment facilities here as well, such as Tokyo’s largest Round One Stadium entertainment facility, where you can enjoy bowling, arcade games, and karaoke. Open weekdays until 6:00, and open 24 hours Fridays, Saturdays, and before holidays, it’s perfect for the visitor to Tokyo looking to have fun. And in the sixth floor restaurant area you’ll find Akihabara’s popular Maidreamin maid café and bar. Stop by for a taste of real Tokyo culture!
A feast for the senses from numerous famous restaurants
DiverCity is naturally the place to go for good food as well. The Tokyo Gourmet Stadium food court is a huge area seating 700 and featuring 13 unique restaurants. Recommended for visitors to Japan include such famous Tokyo staples as Taimeiken (Japanese/western food), Rokurinshi (Japanese ramen noodles), and the new Kyurin. It’s the perfect place for the gourmet traveler.
The sixth floor restaurant area was designed to be a feast for the senses. From the previous Maidreamin to Apollo, a buffet restaurant designed as a spaceship overlooking life-size Gundam statues, there are plenty of restaurants to try.
